About the event
Take a break from screens and schedules and come celebrate the Summer Solstice with your family. Join Rooted Life Lessons & Forest Spirit LLC for a fun, guided nature walk at Horseshoe Bend North Shelter, where kids and adults can explore together, listen to the birds, feel the trees, and discover the little surprises of the forest. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, this walk helps everyone relax, sparks curiosity and creativity, and gives families a chance to connect with each other and with nature in a joyful, playful way.
Sit mats will be provided. You may want to bring a water bottle and small camp chair or blanket for your comfort. This event is geared towards families. Registration is required by June 18,2026 at 4PM. Participant investment is $30 per family plus .75 service fee.
